Booking Terms and Conditions.
1. Bookings between the owner of the home (hereinafter
called the owners) and the person making the bookings (hereinafter
called the client) are valid after (a) the booking form
has been completed and signed and has been received by the
owners, (b) the appropriate deposit has been paid to the
owners, and (c) the booking has been confirmed to the client
by the owners in writing. Telephone reservations can only
be held for a maximum of 5 days. The owners reserve the
right to cancel the reservation thereafter unless a completed
booking form and the appropriate deposit have been received.
2. By signing the booking form the client accepts these
terms and conditions and warrants that he/she is authorised
to agree them on behalf of all other persons. The client
may not sublet nor assign the neither property nor share
the property with persons other than those on the booking
form or otherwise agreed with the owners.
3. A booking deposit of £100 per week ($200) of the
total cost of the holiday is paid at the time of booking.
The balance is payable not less that 6 weeks prior to the
rental period, except where booking instructions are received
within 6 weeks of the rental period when payment, in full,
must be made with the application. If the client does not
pay the balance due at the prescribed time, the owners
reserve
the right to cancel the booking. In this event the deposit
will be forfeited.
4. Any cancellation by the client must be notified in writing
directly to the owners. If the owners receive the notice
of cancellation more than 10 weeks before the rental period,
then only the deposit will be retained. If less than eight
weeks, then the following cancellation charges will apply;
Between 4 and 6 weeks before the rental period – 60%
of the total cost.
Less than 4 weeks before the rental period –100%
of the total cost.
5. Rental period commences at 4 p.m. local time on the day
of arrival specified on the booking form and the property
must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
6. Persons/children under the age of 21 years are not accepted
unless accompanied by parents or a responsible adult.
7. The use of accommodation, amenities and equipment is
entirely at the users own risk, and no responsibility can
be accepted by the owners or their agents for injury or
for loss or damage to the user, visitors or their belongings,
howsoever caused. Baggage and personal belongings are at
the clients risk at all times and no responsibility can
be accepted for loss or damage to any car or its contents.
The client is strongly advised to take out full and suitable
travel insurance for all members of the party to cover cancellation
as soon as the booking is confirmed. The owners cannot accept
any liability for 1. Death 2 Personal Injury 3. Sickness
4. Accident 5. Delay 6. Loss of Luggage/Personal Effects
7. Any other misadventure, which may occur whilst renting
our accommodation.
8. Parents or other responsible adults must at all times
supervise children when using the swimming pool. All persons
use the pool and surrounding area entirely at their own
risk. DIVING IS NOT PERMITTED. Where applicable, the owners
will endeavour to provide pool heat to a reasonable temperature
wherever practically possible, however please note that
the efficiency of the heat pump is subject to climatic change.
The maximum level of compensation available is only to the
full cost of the pool heating where appropriate.
9. The client is responsible for the property and is expected
to take reasonable care of it. All damages and breakages
are the legal responsibility of the client and their cost
shall be refundable on demand. Any maintenance or repair
of the premises, equipment, amenities or fixtures required
due to misuse will be charged to the client. A security
deposit of £200 ($300) is charged and refunded following
a satisfactory report from the property managers.
10. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED inside any of the home due
to local hotel licensing laws, but clients are welcome to
smoke on the covered lanai area by the pool. Please take
care when extinguishing and disposing of cigarette ends
by the pool area.
11. PETS are not allowed inside or outside the home.
12. Should the client consider that there is any reason
for complaint whilst staying at the property the client
must first approach the local property managers with their
complaint. If the client wishes to pursue the matter with
the owners the complaint should be made in writing and submitted
within 7 days of returning home
13. The owners or their property managers will not be liable
for any loss or delay to or cancellation of the clients
holiday due to industrial disputes, riots, the threat of
hostilities, political unrest, acts of terrorism, natural
disasters, aircraft grounding, closure of airports or ports,
weather conditions or any circumstances beyond their control.
14. This contract is subject to and shall be construed in
accordance with the laws of England and the parties herby
submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
